Launches Take a lot of planning :)

One of our very first meetings as a group unfortunately Kiah our manager is missing due to illness. Get Well Kiah! However this is the remaining five of us , Sarah Rath (Assistant Manager) Karen O Shea ( Teller) Sarah Kate Daly ( marketing and sales director) Fionnual Kirby ( auditor) and Claire Sugrue ( Teller). During this meeting we discussed Theme options eventually settling on a theme of "Oxegen" During this theme we would encourage students to save for oxegen 2011. We then made posters like the ones seen in the above photo. We discussed different ways of enticing people to join the bank. We are raffling an ipod nano , an a-wear voucher and a penneys voucher. We also offer free food to those that sign up and lodge money. We also decided on our title "The Rubber Bank-it's" and decided to make "Going to the bank now lads , Can't Waaaiiit" our catch phrase. The Rubber Bank-its is a pun on the popular group amongst Teenagers today "The Rubber Band-it's" Students will relate to our name and therefore it will grasp their attention and keep them interested.

The Rubber Bank-its hard at work once again. Our posters encourage people to save with AIB for Oxegen 2011. This years line up for Oxegen is simply amazing. Blink 182 , Foo Fighters , Paolo Nutini and Black Eyed Peas have all agreed to play. Oxegen is an ideal saving incentive.
